Jordan Kauffman is a graphic designer that is experienced in both designing for print & web. Particularly interested in design for the social good and the integration of design and education. He is always looking for new projects & opportunities, and is passionate about education and believe that it is a life long commitment, not something that you just do in school. Jordan believes in design for the social good, meaning he strives to do design work that benefits others.
Jordan Kauffman is an adjunct instructor at Kent State University in Visual Design Media and Literacy. He lectures and leads student classroom discussions on a variety of topics that impact visual designers and communicators including visual design techniques, photography, print design, environmental graphic design, motion design, ethics, and more.
As a freelance designer at Jordan AG Kauffman, Jordan developed messaging and collateral pieces for numerous clients, designed visual identity systems that are implemented across print, web, and signage, and ollaborated with clients to come up with actionable solutions for their marketing needs.
Jordan Kauffman also served as Director of Communications and Marketing for Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County. His projects included creating and implementing marketing strategies for both the affiliate and ReStore, developing marketing materials that fit within the larger brand framework, building and maintaining relationships with media representatives and donors, and managing all areas of web and social media for the affiliate. He was on the planning team for the 2013-2015 Bloom & Zoom Bike Ride Fundraisers where developed various print and web marketing pieces, signage, maps, waivers, and other pieces needed for the event.
