John Temple
John Temple is a Partner at Hunt Design, a graphic design consulting firm specializing in environmental graphics and exhibit design for public spaces, parks, museums, attractions, retail projects, entertainment centers, hospitality and multi-use developments.
After joining Hunt Design in 1989, John Temple guided the design effort on many of the firm’s important environmental graphics projects. With an understanding of complex environments, John has managed many of Hunt Design’s high-traffic wayfinding assignments including those for higher education, airports, casinos and resorts. He holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Art Center College of Design and one in psychology from Claremont McKenna College. In many ways, the wayfinding profession is a marriage between the disciplines of design and psychology.
Named Partner and co-owner of Hunt Design in 2003, he directs the design of many of the firm’s projects and participates actively in its management. “Working on challenging projects with the best architects is our specialty. Bringing the dynamics of graphic design to the architectural design process is incredibly rewarding.”
