2009 SEGD Green Committee Distinguished Member Award honoree

John Souter, PhD, is Director of Operations for Accent Signage Systems, a high-tech wholesale fabricator of interior ADA signage. John joined Accent in 2005 after almost 20 years with 3M, where he was responsible for research and development in color science and digital imaging, working in Europe, Asia, and the United States.

In addition to his work with the SEGD Sustainability Forum, John authored SEGD's ADA White Paper on Color Contrast and is currently serving on the International Sign Association’s Technical Committee, also representing ISA on the ANSI 117.1 committee for ADA.
