1989 SEGD Fellow

John Follis is one of the founding fathers of Environmental Graphic Design. His 1979 book, Architectural Signing and Graphics, laid the foundations for the discipline and is widely considered the first and seminal guidebook to environmental graphic design. John attended The Art Center School from 1947 to 1949, and taught there for many years.
