John Florie is an environmental graphic designer at Nashville-based Gresham, Smith and Partners.

John Florie brings 13 years of experience in design, project management and business development for a wide range of clients. As part of the firm’s Environmental Graphic Design team, John develops and delivers wayfinding, branding and signage solutions to a wide range of clients and helps lead the firm’s technology-based initiatives. He is currently a member of the GS&P Research Team actively involved with developing ‘ACRP 07-13: Enhancing Airport Wayfinding for the Elderly & Persons with Disabilities,’ for which GS&P is the principal investigator. He also does work for BayCare Health Systems. Before joining GS&P, John was owner of RIGHTMIND Creative Solutions in Nashville, where he focused on connecting brands with creative resources. Previously he served as director of operations and creative manager at GTM Sportswear, an Inc. 5000 company in Kansas, where he led the creative and production teams. He graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications.
