As a partner at MERJE, John Bosio serves as the Principal In Charge for many of the firm’s large and complex projects. He leads clients to successful solutions by providing expertise in branding, signage & wayfinding, graphic design, and project strategy.

John studied at the University of the Arts and over the course of his career has helped establish MERJE as an industry expert in urban wayfinding. He has also developed environmental graphic design projects for healthcare, corporate, and educational institutions.  His projects have included wayfinding programs for Downtown Dallas, Downtown Phoenix, and The City of Miami Beach. He is currently leading a team of multi-disciplined designers in the development of the a Wayfinding Master Plan for the City of Santa Cruz, California and a Branding, Wayfinding and Technology initiative for the Yadkin Valley Heritage Corridor in western North Carolina.

John speaks regularly to professional and community groups about environmental graphic design issues. His speaking engagements have included the American Planning Association, American Institute of Architects, and a variety of SEGD workshops. He previously was an adjunct faculty member of the Graphic Design Department at Drexel University.
