A graduate of Siena College, Joe has been an Owner/Principal of GDS for the past 20 years. In that capacity, Joe has helped establish GDS as one of the leading architectural signage and wayfinding consulting companies in the Northeast.  Joe has personally managed many large-scale Wayfinding and signage projects and has recently developed a new company known as Connexient; a leading company in digital wayfinding

GDS Architectural Signage Solutions has been providing wayfinding signage, planning services and environmental graphic design concepts since 1996. While GDS, and Joe Motta himself, have deep expertise and experience in the hospital/healthcare environment, we have also designed creative signage solutions for schools, universities, and corporate facilities.

Our 3,000 square foot Manchester, NH location boasts both a state of the art production shop and full service administrative front office. Joe has ensured that the GDS seasoned team of professionals excels in developing conceptual signage designs and making them a reality. With over 50 years of combined experience it is easy to see why GDS’ presence in the Northeast grows stronger each and every year.

After establishing ourselves in New England, Joe Motta ventured into the expansion and began to offer our comprehensive services within the tri-state area. Shortly after doing so he opened a project management, graphic design and installation office to properly accommodate our clients' daily requests. Located just outside of Manhattan and moments away from the five boroughs resides the 2,000 square foot New York based shop.
