Experienced Environmental Graphic Design and Project Manager

Joanne Breiner has been an environmental graphic designer for over 30 years.  Joanne received a Masters in Fine Arts from Boston University in 1982. She began her professional career as an exhibit designer for Joseph Wetzel Associates, working on projects such as the Los Alamos National Laboratory Museum and the Air and Space Museum in California. She also worked for 13 years as Environmental Graphic Designer and Associate at Steffian Bradley Architects in Boston, designing EGD projects of all kinds, and specializing in medical projects. 

Joanne Breiner began her own firm, DESIGN, Inc. in 2000 in Cambridge, MA, designing EGD for clients including Massachusetts General Hospital, The University of Massachusetts, Union Station Terminal for the City of Springfield, MA, The Broad Institute, Cambridge, The Waldorf Astoria in partnership with Korn Design, Boston, and numerous medical, academic and institutional clients.

Since 1996, Joanne has taught design as an Adjunct Professor at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University, Medford, MA.
