Jo Hohlbein is a Creative Director at the Indianapolis Zoo, Indianapolis.

 Jo Hohlbein has been at the Indianapolis Zoo for over five years. Her department is responsible for all visual outputs at the Zoo and the Zoo’s brand. This includes print media, maps, images, brochures and more. Basically it includes anything the guest will view while at the Zoo.

 Jo Hohlbein earned her degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. More recently, her career has been focused on traditional print media including graphic design for newspapers and magazines. So any sculptural and three-dimensional art I help create for the Zoo involves a lot of on-the-job learning and she often brings in collaborators to help with these tasks, such as the latest project reintroducing the Butterfly displays in the Conservatory to the public with the help of Banner Art Studio.
