Jessica Kramer is an Environmental Graphic Designer and Landscape Architect, with over 20 years of design, marketing, communications and identity/branding experience. As both an environmental graphic designer and landscape architect, Jessica brings a unique perspective to projects. Jessica Kramer's philosophy towards any design project is to truly try to understand how a user will interact within an environment or through a communications piece.
Jessica Kramer’s design experience comes from simply living life: whether it’s focusing on a small detail in a home, discerning the elegance of ornamental grasses in a snowscape, appreciating the eccentricities of a downtown, or imbibing the wonders in world-wide travels. She feels that great design is inherent to our everyday lives and that creating distinct environments makes life richer.
Most of all, the "esprit de corps" of an organization is a fundamental value of Jessica's. We each have to bring meaning to our work, whatever that work is, and to Jessica, that means working as a true team to execute a meaningful vision.
Jessica Kramer attended Kansas State University and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. She began her career as a Landscape Architect with positions at NBBJ, Fischer & Associates (now Fischer Bouma Partnership, and EDAW, Inc. (now AECOM, Inc.). In 2003 she transitioned into a role that was part graphic design and part landscape architect at LSA Associates. Over the next several years she continued working in environmental graphic design for firms such as Nuszer Kopatz Urban Design Associates (now Stanley Consultants), studio j, where she was the owner, LSA Associates, and working in project management at Bellisimo Inc. In August of 2013 she began her role as Environmental Graphic Designer and Landscape Architect at Colorado State University and has worked there for the last five years.
