Jason Yard

Jason Yard is a product manager for MACtac® Distributor Products, which produces wide-format digital media, overlaminates, mounting and marking films, screen printable media, and other pressure-sensitive vinyl solutions for the graphics industry. Yard joined Mactac in 2007, and is an expert in graphics printing and installation.

In 2013, Jason Yard assumed the role of product manager for digital media and laminates. Yard is also responsible for marketing to Mactac Distributor Products’ large customer base and training them on the details of application techniques. He also leads Mactac’s well-known Application Nation program, focusing on educating customers on the best uses for Mactac’s products, matching products to applications and proper installation methods. Yard assists and facilitates Mactac Distributor Products’ research and development testing and new product benchmarking. His goal is to personally communicate to customers the benefit Mactac offers as a business partner – from exceptional support, service and training to helping achieve their business goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Mactac, Jason Yard owned his own graphic design business and spent several years in retail development. He worked for two large national companies specializing in branding and communication as well as national marketing and merchandising. Yard holds a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University and has been on the board of directors for the Kent State Alumni Organization for more than four years. He has also served as a volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club of America and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
