Janet is passionate about creating retail experiences that bring brands and communities to life. One of her favorite places is one of the few remaining Chautauqua sites in the U.S., set at the base of the Flatirons and featuring a wide array of cultural, musical, dining, and social events year round. It is historic, vibrant, and future-forward.

Janet brings these same qualities to many of the projects she has managed during her 30+ year career. Her work in retail planning, signage, and wayfinding has spanned continents, with projects across the U.S. and abroad, including LA Live and NBC Universal Studios in Los Angeles; Dolphin Mall, Miami; Peachtree Center, Atlanta; ARENDI, Syracuse, N.Y.; London Live, Greenwich, England; Tokyo Midtown Galleria, Tokyo; Bugis Junction, Singapore; Yas Island, Abu Dhabi; and VeloCity, Brussels.

Janet was a partner with Henry Beer and Richard Foy in CommArts , the Boulder, Colo.-based firm that received international acclaim for its design and visual communications work. CommArts created a remarkable history of giving shape to their clients' message and mission by providing integrated design solutions from concept to realization. The firm completed more than 3,000 projects for clients worldwide. 

Janet attended graduate school at The University of Colorado, and later earned her M.B.A. from the University of Denver.
