Jamie Turpin has spent her professional career as a project designer in Dallas and Kansas City. Her experience ranges from retail renovations to corporate new construction, identity design to branded environments, and product and packaging design to website design development.
Turpin has won various awards and honors for her work including the 2012 Semifinalist Adobe Design Achievement Award, Print Communications; 2012 AAF Savannah Silver ADDY Award, Package Design; 2012 SCAD Gold SCADDY Award, Publication & Package Design; 2012 KC AIGA A8 Awards; 2012 Design of the Times Gold Mass Merchandisers, Philips Oral Care Touch and Learn (with Kendal King Group); 2011 Work Selected to Exhibit at Opening of SCAD Museum of Art; 2001 Jimmy Carter Work Project Vinyl Institute Scholarship, Habitat for Humanity.
Turpin received her bachelor of interior architecture degree from Kansas State University at the Architecture, Planning and Design School. As an undergraduate student, she had the opportunity to participate in a study abroad program in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Turpin also attended Savannah College of Art & Design where she received her M.A. degree in graphic design and is currently working on her M.F.A. degree.
Jamie Turpin belongs to the American Institute of Graphic Artists, Kansas City chapter; Type Directors Club, and the Society for Experiential Graphic Design.
