James Chapman has spent over 25 years in the development and supply of products used for manufacturing ADA Compliant and Tactile Interior and Exterior Signage. Since 1992, he has installed over 500 photopolymer processing and sign fabricating systems, holding the International Patent for NovAcryl clear photopolymer. Since 1991, James worked in thermo-compression molding within the flexo and rubber stamp industry, applying that technology to acrylics and other thermoplastics to create Tactile Signs. He has installed over a dozen thermoforming systems, training sign manufacturers on the basics of compression molding.
As Director and Developer of SignForm Systems for ARTS, James Chapman brings over 35 years of product development and raised graphic sign manufacturing experience to each of over 700 current and former sign manufacturing clients. Consultancy is supported by extensive product knowledge and new product development, manufacturing implementation and ongoing technical support.
Previous to SignForm Systems for ARTS, James Chapman was the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Ecostrate SFS responsible for the concept, design and development of the world's first composite sheet thermoformed from recycled, 100% Post-Consumer e-waste polymer materials. He was also Founder, President, and CEO of Nova Polymers, the first photopolymer company dedicated exclusively to the Architectural and ADA sign industry.
