Art Director Jaime Hotz is a multi-disciplinary creator, making the world a more beautiful place from sewing to hand lettering to environmental graphic design. She leads Luci’s graphic department with an eye for detail, and ensures each project has a clear and engaging visual style and identity.
Her background in exhibition design, brand identity and collateral as well as set and costume design influences her graphic design work to consider three-dimensionality, printing processes, color theory and texture.
Prior to joining Luci Creative, Jaime Hotz spent eight years as a senior graphic and media designer at Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium and worked as a graphic designer for the Chicago Shakespeare Theater and for a number of marketing and brand communication agencies. At Luci, she has led projects for The Field Museum, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Garfield Park Conservatory, Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, Ford House, Perfume Passage Museum and Pacific Gas & Electric.
Jaime Hotz has a BA in Theater from the University of Wisconsin and an MS in Design & Visual Communications from Pratt Institute.
