Jackie Tobin is an Environmental Graphic Design at CannonDesign, an integrated global design firm that unites a dynamic team of architects, engineers, industry experts and builders driven by a singular goal — to help solve our clients’ and society’s greatest challenges.
As an undergraduate, Jackie Tobin studied Psychology and Fine Arts at the University of Southern California. During college, she worked in the public schools in Los Angeles as a tutor and was inspired to become a special education teacher. As a result, her work is heavily influenced by how people interpret and remember visual information. She uses illustration and typography to create cohesive brands and design systems.
Along the way, Jackie Tobin never lost her passion for art, so she retired from teaching at the age of 26 and went back to school to study graphic design. Jackie spent the past couple of years developing design skills and working as a designer for Bridgewater State University’s Athletics & Recreation Department. There, she create graphics for social media marketing, logos and promotional materials for games and events, and anything else the department needs to promote and celebrate their teams.
