Recently Thinking Caps Design placed 2nd in a design competition held by an Arizona chapter of AIA (American Institute of Architects). 

The design competition titled THIS IS PHOENIX involved 45 teams, including 27 Arizona teams, and two international teams. THIS IS PHOENIX is a competition that asked entrants to propose an innovative program and design a structure, an element or a place, which supports that program, and expresses the uniqueness of Phoenix. The entrant’s assessment of what Phoenix is or could become, is centered around finding ways to use this City’s unique assets, infrastructure, climate to forge a unique vision for the City’s future.
