Hesper Smyth is an environmental graphic designer who is experienced in large interior and exterior wayfinding programs, corporate rebranding, and project management—with a special emphasis on healthcare wayfinding systems.

Hesper Smyth joined Corbin in 2001, bringing with her two years of experience with other graphic design firms in Ohio. She was promoted to senior designer in 2006.

While at Corbin Design, her assignments have included helping to develop comprehensive wayfinding programs for large healthcare facilities nationwide and in Canada. She has also completed several healthcare rebrand projects.

As lead designer, Hesper Smyth is responsible for leading large interior and exterior wayfinding programs. She provides wayfinding analysis and wayfinding logic development and design development; creates sign location plans and sign message schedules; implements signage system; assists and communicates with signage fabricators; reviews shop drawings, keystroking proofs; creates mapping artwork and directory listings; and provides custom icon development. Her project management skills include daily communications with clients, both in person and via email correspondence, creating project schedules, and overseeing work performed by junior designers.

Hesper Smyth holds a degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she was an honors student.
