1999 SEGD Fellow

Henry Beer co-founded CommArtswith Richard Foy in 1973. The two met at the office of Charles and Ray Eames and for 35 years, along with Janet Martin, headed a staff of architects, industrial, interior, graphic, and environmental graphic designers who created nationally and internationally acclaimed work for their clients. CommArts is known for its remarkable history of giving shape to their clients' message and mission by providing integrated design solutions from concept to realization. The firm completed more than 3,000 projects for clients nationwide and globally.

Henry is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design. 

The CommArts staff now plays a key role within Stantec's architecture practice devoted to branding and strategic project positioning, according to a press release issued by Stantec.
