Hendrik Gerrits is a project manager and 3D designer at LAB at Rockwell Group, the firm’s digital
interaction studio. Over the past seven years, the LAB has established itself as a leader in embedding
creative technology into physical environments. Since joining the LAB in 2011, Hendrik Gerrits has worked on
various projects for Google, The National Building Museum, Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Intel’s
Maker Faire and Intel’s CES.
With a background in exhibition design, 3D modeling, and construction management, Hendrik Gerrits previously
worked at the New Museum of Contemporary Art. As Exhibitions Manager, he oversaw the design,
budget and installation of groundbreaking shows such as: Paul Chan’s “The 7 Lights.” Urs Fischer’s
“Marguerite de Ponty,” Jeff Koons’ “Skin Fruit,” and “After Nature.” Hendrik Gerrits received his BA in Visual
Art from Columbia University, where he focused on kinetic sculpture.
