Harmon Sign

Headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, Harmon Sign has been a trusted partner in on-premise signage for over 75 years. Since 1937. The company provides quality turnkey solutions for any industry. From proposal and initial design to successful installation and continued maintenance, it produces the most visually effective and most importantly cost effective signage in the country.
Harmon Sign was founded in 1937 by Chalmer Harmon in his hometown of Wauseon, 30 miles west of Toledo, Ohio. What began as a one-man business in the corner of Harmon’s basement has grown into a multi-million dollar sign company, leading the industry under the direction of Harmon’s nephew, CEO of Harmon Sign, Dan Kasper and now Owner and President Jeff Kasper.
The company has a history of product diversity, diversity that has been driven by technological advances throughout the years. “Staying abreast with industry technologies is the key to continued growth,” says Kasper. “It is also the key to meeting customer demand.”
And in meeting customer demand, Harmon’s founder saw many changes in the early years, quickly adapting to new trends in on-premise advertising. Hand painted signs soon gave way to flashy neon signage, and Harmon was there, becoming skilled in the art of neon. Harmon was also quick to embrace the new era of computer aided technology in the 80’s, technology that was ushered in by the advent of pressure-sensitive vinyl film for decorating sign faces.
Innovative thinking and the advances in computer aided technologies have enabled the company to service a broad customer base, from the small proprietor to regional and national accounts such as Little Caesar’s, Guitar Center, and Best Western International. Providing a total turnkey service to that customer base has propelled the company into a successful complete sign source.
