Gillian Brunning is a student at The Academy of Design at RCC Institute of Technology. She is scheduled to receive a Bachelor of Interior Design in 2017. Gillian previously eared a Project Management Certificate and a degree in Journalism, Print and Broadcast from Humber College. She is also a corporate communicator and construction project coordinator at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto.

Gillian Brunning has held many titles at St. Joseph's Health Centre, including Corporate Projects and Communications Associate and Project Coordinator in Redevelopment. As a communications associate in corporate communications and public affairs, she was responsible for the communications supporting SJHC's electronic health record implementation and the current redevelopment project. She was also responsible for all internal communications at the Health Centre; Editor and writer for the corporate newsletter Connections; Accountable for all administrative duties for the office.

Gillian Brunning is certified in Fall Arrest & Prevention and Operation of Personal Lifts and Solid Tire/Slab Scissor Lifts through Battlefield Professional Safety Training Services. Gillian has volunteered for the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, Rexdale Baseball League, West Humber JMS Parent Council, and Martingrove Collegiate Institute Parent Council.
