Reporting to the project management firm’s senior leadership team, Gary Anzalone will strengthen and further develop Macro’s regional, national, and global relationships to help inspire significant long-term growth for the company. He will oversee and enhance Macro’s client relationship management program and corporate brand strategy.
Macro (New York) manages more than10 million square feet of projects. Anzalone will be responsible for expanding Macro’s footprint in the Boston/New York City/Philadelphia/Washington, DC, corridor, as well as nationally and globally.
In making the announcement, Macro’s Managing Principal Michael Glatt said, “As Macro continues to grow on all fronts, creating a client relationship management position was a logical next step. There is no one better suited for this critical new position than Gary Anzalone."
Anzalone is a long-time active member of SEGD and its past chapter chair liaison to the SEGD Board of Directors as well as a founding member of the SEGD Sustainability Forum. He has also been an active member of IFMA and served as president of its New York chapter. SEGD recognized Anzalone in 2008 and 2013 with the Distinguished Member Award. In 2008 he was honored with the SEGD Angel Award.

For the past 30 years, Anzalone has been principal at Precision Signs, a full-service architectural sign company based in Long Island, serving clients coast to coast with interior and exterior corporate identity, wayfinding, and code compliance signage. He began his career as a construction project manager with the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York. He was most recently president of IFMA New York. He has also served as CEO of CEO Clubs NY. He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the AIA. Anzalone earned a B.S. in technology and industrial education from New York University.
