Frost* Design (Sydney) won three significant prizes in the inaugural Sydney Design Awards. In the graphic design and urban design categories, Frost was recognized for their work creating an annual magazine for outdoor media company EYE Corp; a signage, wayfinding, and environmental graphics project commissioned by Rio Tinto; and an information kiosk in Chinatown for the City of Sydney.

The Sydney Design Awards, which cover all design-related fields—from graphic design and advertising to architecture, product, and fashion design—represent the diversity and culture of the Sydney design industry.

The firm also brought the new library building at Stanmore Public School in their hometown to life with a series of signage and environmental graphics utilizing a bright color palette and playful typography. Colorful identification signs and a custom-printed recycled carpet tile bring a sense of fun to the library interior, while large-scale book quotes painted onto an external walkway animate the journey through the playground.
