Franziska Steinkohl
Franziska Steinkohl is a student at Massey University in Wellington, NZ.
Franziska Steinkohl is originally from Germany. She is a 22 year old designer living in New Zealand about to finish her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Visual Communication Design at Massey University of Wellington.
Franziska Steinkohl focuses on design thinking and strongly believes that good design is based on its intended user. She thoroughly enjoys every step in the process of developing a new idea - from research to testing prototypes, design iterations to the final output, the process is as important and exciting to me as the product. Franziska Steinkohl have predominantly done projects in Print Design, Typography and Branding but this year I have also become very passionate about Experience Design and UX/UI.
Besides the fact that every project is different, Franziska Steinkohl also loves meeting and working with new people in the design field. Whether it is fellow classmates, people at events or other employees Franziska Steinkohl met at previous internships and work experiences, they inspire her to do new things and make her want to learn more about what they do. These people enable Franziska to grow as a designer and find out about areas she didn't know existed.
When she is not designing, you can find her out and about in Wellington, either by foot or bike, catching up with friends over a coffee or the occasional brew. She also loves to travel and take amateur photos.
