
Entro (Toronto) announced the appointment of five new partners. Since day one in 1990, founding partners Andrew Kuzyk and Wayne McCutcheon envisioned the firm to be multigenerational, and something larger than their partnership. Entro has grown to be an influential firm with three offices working in the civic, cultural, transportation, educational, healthcare, commercial and entertainment sectors. They have invited five new partners from within Entro based on their contribution, enthusiasm and vision for the company.
Gord McTaggart, B.Des, GDC started at Entro as an intern and has been with Entro for 15+ years as the company has evolved. He co-runs the Calgary office and has been involved in some of Entro’s largest projects, shaping the firm's aviation and commercial/mixed-use practices. Monumental project credits include Jewel Changi Airport, Calgary International Airport, Edmonton ICE District and the World Trade Center in collaboration with valued architecture and design partners. Through his leadership and experience he continues to elevate Entro’s work.
Rae Lam-Fox, PMP, RGD came to Entro with a vision to grow the firm's cultural, workplace and exhibit work. Creating memorable experiences drives her design philosophy. Her approach considers a holistic view and looks for opportunities to create linkages and tell stories through design in the built environment. Her leadership on projects for Deloitte, RBC, Laurentian University, University of Waterloo and King Portland Centre has set new standards for design visioning and excellence at Entro.
Vincent Gratton, B.Eng, BID, ACIDO has been with Entro for 15+ years and has been instrumental in shaping various sectors of their work with major project accomplishments for the Art Institute of Chicago, Metrolinx Transit, Ottawa Tourism, the Eglinton Crosstown and Toronto Pearson airport, among others. Vincent achieved a wide range of experience designing and teaching within the industrial design and engineering fields across Canada and Europe. His expertise in design and management in diversified fields including graphics, product design, interior design, engineering, architecture and transportation, has intrinsically influenced how Entro approaches work.
Laura Sellors, BAA, RGD leads the firm in the area of business development. Her focus is on ensuring the organization is poised for continued growth as well as shaping the international portfolio of work. She benefits from a diverse portfolio of expertise in design, communications, project management and client relations and has a proven track record of more than 15+ years leading creative and design-based teams and projects. Her work at Entro has broadened perspectives, helped the firm to reach new areas and partners and will fundamentally shape the future of the firm.
Cynthia Damar-Schnobb, BID, ACIDO has been with Entro, directing EGD projects for 15+ years. She has played a significant role in establishing the firm's practice, leading major projects for Sidra Medical and Research Center in Qatar, Calgary’s New Central Library, Greater Columbus Convention Center in Ohio, University Health Network and airport projects in Memphis, Kansas City and Singapore. Her design leadership derives from her experience in industrial design and user interface design, helping her set new standards of practice and innovation.
