The Miami Beach Urban Studios builds upon the vision of the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts by utilizing the innovation, community engagement, and expertise afforded by its participating faculty members, facilities, and location to be at the forefront of teaching, research, and service in art, design, performance, and communication. As a cultural anchor institution in Miami Beach, the Urban Studios offer undergraduate and graduate students a unique opportunity to study in one of the most vibrant, artistic urban centers in the world.  While they are here, students gain valuable professional experience at design firms, and by working with innovative public, private, and non-profit arts organizations throughout the city. The Urban Studios also provide individual and 3D printing laboratory space for faculty members, and studio/lab and classroom space for design and fine arts students.  There are practice and performance spaces for music and theatre students as well expansive gallery/exhibition spaces and classroom space for use by the entire College.
