Signage?

Labeling identifies products. Signage identifies places.

Signage is a major component of all wayfinding, placemaking and identity systems, and exhibitions. SEGD is a global community of the designers, fabricators and vendors involved in using signage to create a sense of place and to enhance peoples experiences when navigating their way through spaces.

District Burlington Entrance Identification
The District Burlington Environmental Graphics by Poulin + Morris

The District Burlington is a 13 building, 54-acre office complex in Burlington, Massachusetts, outside of Boston and part of the Route 128 high-tech corridor. The development, previously called the New England Executive Park, was built in the 1960s through the 1980s. While the location in the Boston area’s technology hub was highly desirable, the facilities were showing their age and no longer made sense for modern workplaces.
