Expanding Imagination Over Lunch With Jan Lorenc

Wednesday, June 10, 2020 - 12:15pm to 1:00pm

Have you ever wished you could sit down and have lunch with SEGD Fellow Jan Lorenc? Well, mark your calendars and pack a lunch because we are hosting an afternoon Zoom with world-renowned designer Jan Lorenc on Wednesday, June 10th from 12:15-1:00pm. We hope you can join!

A little history: Before establishing Lorenc+Yoo Design in 1978 in Chicago, Jan was already well known for designing the logo and signage guidelines for Target Stores (which are still in use today). In its early days, LYD undertook industrial design projects; they later began work on large-scale signage programs, and in the mid-1990s moved into exhibits, interiors and architecture. LYD has worked in Korea, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, India and Japan. Currently, half their work is in China where they create the vision and design for brand new towns.

We hope you can join us for this special lunchtime event. Admission is free, but you must register in advance -- follow the link below to register through Zoom. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with meeting details.
