As a creative consultant focused on effective design and authentic branding, Emily Desai is always looking for ways to connect people with places, things, and experiences. The ties may be expressed through visual and spatial interventions or in simple printed collateral, but the results are the same: a real, relatable interaction. Emily Desai provides creative direction during all phases of a project including overall narrative development, branding, and visual design while maintaining a keen awareness of content creation, client objectives, user experience, and technical implementation. Strategic thinking is critical in maintaining the highest creative standards while remaining aware of project goals, milestones and desired outcomes.

From an early age, Emily Desai knew that she wanted to be an architect. She earned her BArch degree in Architecture at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After graduating, she moved to Paris to work in a design firm and soak in as much of the city as possible. When she returned to the U.S., she settled in Los Angeles, where she has enjoyed working in a variety of creative companies. After working for local design firms, she started and ran a letterpress design company for several years. Eventually, Emily Desai's love of innovation, design, architecture and technology pulled her back in and she loves working with amazing clients on truly inspiring projects. When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her husband and our three children, fixing up their 100-year-old bungalow and attempting to garden (it's harder than it looks). She also continues to pursue painting (again, harder than it looks) and baking good things.
