Elizabeth Anderson is passionate about integrating graphics with the built environment.
Elizabeth Anderson leads her firm in bringing a sense of direction to wayfinding, a sense of purpose to identity, and a sense of humor to make it all possible. Located in Portland Oregon, the firm’s work spans the country with a primary focus on wayfinding and graphics programs that help people access, navigate and connect with their environments. We identify starting points, present possible journeys and build context for a dynamic experience in a three-dimensional world. Recent projects include sign masterplans for the DC Public Library system; Stanford School of Medicine, Palo Alto; Lewis & Clark College, Portland, OR; University of Puget Sound, Tacoma WA; Portland Community College, Portland, OR; UNC Cancer Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.
Elizabeth Anderson is a teacher, a leader and a passionate advocate. A life long student of letterforms, she loves to share their history in unconventional ways and as a board member of the Architectural Foundation of Oregon, she is committed to promoting thoughtful, considered design to preserve Oregon's very special sense of place.
