Earl Sipes is a Senior Associate at BCT Architects in Baltimore.

A 31-year veteran of BCT, Earl Sipes is BCT’s expert in environmental graphics, signage, wayfinding and branding. Embracing a multitude of design disciplines including graphic design, architecture and landscape design, Earl is adept at creating communication and branding systems unique to each site. His design input is invaluable and he has influenced the outcome of many, if not all, of BCT’s retail-driven, mixed-use projects throughout the years. His understanding of typography, color, signage and symbolism allows him to add vibrancy to each project in its conceptual stage.

Earl Sipes has touched many well-known projects including Power Plant Live, Lexington Market, Historic Downtown Silver Spring, The Avenue at White Marsh and most recently Ellis Preserve, a mixed-use project located in Newton, PA.

Earl Sipes received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

From Earl: "Environmental graphics are key to a project’s success as they serve to shape the visitor’s overall experience through wayfinding, identification and branding."

BCT Architects is a creative, multi-disciplined design firm specializing in all aspects of master planning, architecture, interior design and environmental graphics. While the breadth of their practice is constantly expanding they continue to be recognized as leaders in the design of mixed-use projects for the retail, residential, hospitality, senior living and corporate office sectors.
