PCL Graphics & Plaskolite will be hosting the SEGD Chicago Chapter at 20 W Kinzie on Thursday June 23rd at 5:30pm Our purpose for this gathering is to reengage Designers, Manufacturers and Suppliers in the Post-Covid era and discuss how the past two years has created a shift in supply chains, new technologies and medias. The need for creating experiences that connect people to place is needed more than ever and we believe that together our multidisciplinary community of professionals will foster relevant, well-informed built environments. In the Spirit of Pride we'll be discussing the importance of color across a range of production methods - CYMK, Paint, RGB. PCL and Plaskolite also plan to discuss how recent supply chain issues have created the need for taking standard products and coupling them with new production methods that allow for quick turn around without compromising quality or design intent. Finally our hosts will share how new technologies allow for a Low Carbon foot print in the production of wayfinding signage.
