I'm a goddam joy to work with!
Dain Gordon is a Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinary designer who hails from a ranch settled within the majestic mountains of Montana. Dain often takes inspiration from his homeland, distilling his industrial-rustic design sensibilities into clean and modern forms. He can be found sawing, cutting, sanding, soldering, nailing, or stitching one of his many design projects... at odd hours.
With 6 years of experience covering print and digital design, environmental design, art direction, branding, and video, he continues to pursue other ways to express ideas. He enjoys designing and directing across multiple platforms and over the last year he's increasingly worked in the three-dimensional realm.
Dain has completed several notable projects recently including the design of Cole Haan’s window displays on view in Rockefeller Center (and across the US and internationally); branding, environmental graphics, and signage for a new surgical center in the Bronx; and the production of exterior graphics for the second largest skyscraper in the world, Lotte World Tower, located in Seoul, Korea.
He is also a contributing architecture editor at 6sqft.com.
