After serving as the creative lead and art director for a series of marketing agencies, Cynthia “Cindy” Tjoflat decided it was time to establish a different kind of creative resource.
As an advocate for originality, Cindy set out to build a place where creative professionals could explore an idea’s potential without restraints or limitations. As the Owner and CEO of Concord Creative, Inc., Cindy found a way to help creative professionals bring their biggest, boldest, and most innovative ideas to life.
Under her leadership, Concord Creative has become a go-to resource for creative professionals looking to overcome complex challenges and craft powerful experiences for their audiences. As a multi-disciplinary firm, Concord Creative works with brands, agencies, and designers to create spaces, scenery, and images that audiences can’t resist. Specialities include photography, set design, custom fabrication, product design, and temporary space design.
Since a very early age, Cindy has been driven to solve aesthetic challenges and produce unique moments and experiences. Unable to sit still, Cindy has a habit of saying yes and then figuring out how to make it happen. She’s worked on a variety of professional projects, including: product development, environmental design, photography, video, color and trend consulting, and branding.
In 2011, Cindy was named “Woman of the Year” by the National Association of Professional Women. She’s been awarded three U.S. patents for product design, and has been the trusted resource for product photography and showroom designs for Simmons Bedding Company for more than a decade. She is a member of Color Marketing Group, Society for Experiential Design, International Sleep Products Association, the American Institute of Graphic Design, and the National Association of Professional Women.
Cindy holds a BFA in design from Georgia Southern University, with a minor in psychology, which allows her to identify and connect the dots between visual communication and the sensory experiences of audiences. She describes her background as a true do-it-yourself, push-to-the-top, never-stop-believing-in-yourself kind of story.
