Corey Steinmetz is a Junior Graphic Designer at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. She graduated with distinction in May 2013 from Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI with a BFA in Visual Communication Design. As an emerging professional designer, Corey is looking for a challenge every day. By doing so, she strives to grow and become a better designer and thinker. She is well-rounded in her abilities, and is very interested in user experience and how people interact with objects and others.

Corey Steinmetz aspires to be in a leadership role for design consultancy, or perhaps in the line of exhibit design so she could work both two- and three-dimensionally. She wants to positively affect the world through design and visual conversations, specifically by focusing on user experiences, information, and environmental graphics.

Previously, Corey Steinmetz worked as Graphic Design Intern at both RoundPeg and Achieve, LLC. She also interned at the Indiana Historical Society as in Exhibitions Design and Production. There she art directed and designed all the elements for the Civil War from Fort Sumter to Emancipation exhibit, and helped with installation of the You Are There- 1955: Ending Polio exhibit.
