Reboot, get inspired, and network! The SEGD Conference is the only annual conference designed for creatives working in Experiential Graphic Design.
The week kicks-off at the Academic Summit on Wednesday where top educators and design visionaries get together to chart the course of experiential graphic design through peer reviewed design research, academic innovation, and student design excellence. The official SEGD Conference starts on Thursday with a keynote session that's inspired by the host-city. Attendees spend the afternoon in intimate group tours exploring Seattle's best projects and studios. Then, everyone comes together Thursday evening for the President's Reception — a great big party, and lots of fun.
NEXPO opens all day on Friday with several events taking place on the show-floor. The hall will be buzzing during the sponsored breakfast, morning and afternoon networking breaks, lunch, and the ever-popular, often-raucous NEXPO Reception & Auction for Excellence — a live auction led by Bonhams New York.
We start the day Saturday with inspirational keynotes and three breakout sessions designed to energize participants and push their creative limits. Design Improv and Design Improv(e) take a different approach to team-inspired design — one for the good of Seattle, the other can only be described as creative-chaos (hint: booze, paper, ink, and a step outside the norm).
The grand finale of the week's activities revolve around the celebration of the best of the best in design and practice. Participants join together on Saturday afternoon for the announcement of the 2016 SEGD Fellow, award the industry's top practitioners, and celebrate the 2016 SEGD Global Design Award-winning projects.
You'll leave the SEGD Conference feeling inspired; full of new connections, and new memories shared with your peers, partners, and clients.
