Clayton Whisenant in a Landscape Architect/Project Manager at Orange County Parks Planning & Design Division.

Clayton Whisenant is a licensed Landscape Architect and Project Manager currently specializing in parks and recreational projects. During his years in the industry, Clayton has been involved in many exciting and prestigious projects. From model homes and residences, high profile hotels and resorts in the hospitality industry, master planned communities, to parks and recreational projects. Clayton has had the opportunity to provide his knowledge in many areas of the landscape architectural industry in providing the development of plans, specifications, and estimates from inception to project completion.

Clayton Whisenant is skilled in construction materials and methods; site layout and grading; planting layout and horticultural practices; project and contract management; graphic and written communication. He is a Certified Playground Safety Inspector and has also received additional education in the Project Management industry. He has earned his certification from the Project Management Institute.

Before Joining Orange County Parks in 2006 he worked for:

  • SUmmers/Murphy and Partners
  • Lifescapes International

Clayton Whisenant graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Landscape Architecture from the California State Polytechnic University - Pomona.
