I immigrated to New York City at a young age. Mesmerized by the iconic architecture of the Big Apple I developed an admiration and passion for designing built environments. I received my Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University at Buffalo in 2018 and worked at the University at Buffalo's Fabrication Shop where I learned and developed the skills of fabrication and woodworking.
After graduation, I gained experience in management working as the Fabrication Lab Manager at SUNY Erie. My role as manager included budget management, collaborating with faculty and students to research applications of Digital Fabrication across different areas of study and developing relationships within the network of Fabrication Labs across the United States. Once I moved back to New York City, I gained experience working at an Architecture firm under a team of developers in a variety residential and commercial projects across the tri-state area. I soon discovered my passion for story telling and creating environments that lead to interactions and engagement.
My current studies at FIT are giving me the tools to utilize the various skills I have learned throughout my career to develop spaces that connect with audiences and engage. I am always looking forward to learning from other professionals and participating in collaborative teams with individuals who are passionate in learning and working across various disciplines.
