Christopher Seeds is a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Christopher Seeds is a designer and researcher on the multi-university research project focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy through motivational interviewing. The system uses machine learning models to label important features of the interaction between a therapist and client (Was this a reflection? an open question? How empathetic was the therapist?) and then turns all of this information into a friendly feedback tool. His work was focused on the visualization of the data and the experience of recording an interview session.
Christopher Seeds designs impactful experiences within complex systems that impact people. Christopher has an impressive resume of design experience ranging from product design to graphic design to UX and interaction design. Christopher Seeds has worked with FORM, Kent State University, Plated, Louis+Partner's Design, Findaway World, and most recently with Microsoft prior to starting at the University of Washington.
