Chris Whalen is a strategic, multidisciplinary designer / writer & art director with an eye for innovation and pixel perfection. Chris has worked with clients such as Santander Bank, Philadelphia Eagles, Madame Tussauds, Nordstrom and Westfield, to name a few.
As a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Art and Design Chris Whalen started his professional life in the world of advertising in the early 90’s just as the digital revolution was kicking of for designers. Within this world of new possibilities Chris found his true calling and evolved and grew with it and was able to see its untapped potential.
Throughout his career Chris Whalen has cultivated a broad skill set that revolves around the world of digital from interactive design, broadcast production, brand identity design, content creation, photography to print collateral. Along with the art of creative writing, Chris Whalen's wish is to combine his knowledge and experience in these areas to deliver the best concepts and digital solutions to OpenEyes clients and their audiences.
Chris works for OpenEye Global, an experience design agency focused on driving digital strategy in built environments, with specialties including brand experience and interactive deployment, digital activation, innovation and analytics.OpenEye GLobal are imaginative. They take pride in crafting the unknown and transforming the “what-could-be” to “how’d they do that?” It is what they do for their clients, and in their personal life.
