I develop experiential exhibits, signage, and graphics, for themed environments to connect people, place, period, and perception. My interior and exterior projects include interpretive, cultural, park, recreational, and themed-attraction projects. My work can be found in corporate, institutional, and government sectors.
I produce cross-media environments with interactive, static, and immersive visitor experiences in collaboration with a network of professionals that include architects, engineers, storytellers/interpreters, set designers, lighting designers, artists/sculptors, media/interactive developers, fabricators and others.
I convert clients' initial expressions of need into tangible creative solutions – from planning, to design, and to production.
Exhibits integrate engaging stories with compelling media techniques – resulting in sensory-rich immersive experiences and impactful displays – to help people understand and relate to meaningful messages.
Signage includes environmental graphics – architectural, wayfinding, identifications, branding, and information systems – to help people know what they need to know in a timely manner.
Thematic branding transforms architectural and natural spaces into experiences defined by circulation, forms, finishes, and lighting.
My work has always been an amalgam of graphic and spatial disciplines. From project scoping, to concept development and hands-on implementation, I use what I need to get the message across. There is method to my creativity and creativity in my method.
Primary areas of practice include branded and themed environments that are engaging, inspiring and transformative. Other areas of practice include branding systems, logo development, marketing & corporate collateral materials, and public art. And of course, sustainable practices guide all endeavours.
