Charlie Bromley is Head of Environments at THERE—a creative agency delivering branded experiences for the built environment, with studios in Sydney and Singapore. THERE connect people with places and places with people by communicating stories, navigating spaces and activating places.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Charlie Bromley is a multidisciplinary designer with an international portfolio of projects that spans Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Australasia. From a background in interior design, he has since focused his career on the intersection of branding and graphics in the built environment, working across numerous projects ranging from workplace design to retail and exhibition to major wayfinding schemes.

Throughout his career, Charlie Bromley has delivered award-winning projects for a diverse range of global clients including Westfield, Lendlease, Qantas, LinkedIn, Google, BBC, Westpac and Goodman. Through the development of innovative and creative solutions, he strives to enhance engagement between a user and the space they inhabit—be that through the creation of a wayfinding platform or branded experiential environment.

Charlie Bromley's work has been recognized by the Society of Experiential Graphic Design, the Australian Graphic Design Association, Best Awards (New Zealand) and Best of Year (USA).

“Off Grid 18,”the second-annual international experiential graphic design event created by the Wellington Chapter of SEGD, transpired over four days and four cities in late February. The theme was “Experiential City,” which posed the question, “What is the ‘experiential city’ and where does design fit in?”
