PhotoWorksGroup is a turnkey EGD fabrication studio with over 30 years of experience. Working closely with designers and architectural firms, our corporate interior clients include industry pioneers like Nestle, The Washington Post, Alibaba, EY & Pearson, amongst others.

Alibaba & Gensler provided PWG the opportunity to deliver on several specialized fabrication methods to meet their vision for the new DC office. The visual impact of graphic elements within Alibaba’s space is evident from the first step into the office. Visitors are greeted by visual motifs such as a column wrapped, hand-crafted Alibaba logo, silk screened company history, and a lenticular type graphic celebrating Alibaba’s initial public offering, the biggest in history. Throughout the office, the quality and attention to detail are instrumental in conveying Alibaba’s professional values and character.

PWG’s development of capabilities as a single source graphics provider are designed to inspire new opportunities for expression and impact for all designer’s crafting experiences in the built environment. Working hand in hand with our clients, we collectively seek to set the cadence for tomorrow’s innovations in visual communication.

Blagden Alley is a hidden gem located between Washington, DC’s Logan Circle and Mt. Vernon neighborhoods. Inside these tucked-away streets, you will find many popular restaurants and shops such as Calico, Tiger Fork, Columbia Room, Buttercream and more! Since 2011, the multi-disciplinary design firm, Streetsense, has been involved in turning this under-utilized area into the popular DC destination. This event will begin at the Streetsense office (also located in Blagden Alley) by lead designers, Megan Capo and John DeNapoli, who will be sharing insight into the integral role that place making, interior design and environmental graphics played in creating this urban hotspot. Following the presentation, we will step outside to view a few of these places in person and ultimately landing at Calico for some refreshments.
