SEGD RDU

One of our goals for 2019 is to increase engagement with our local design students. In our niche industry, it’s truly a grassroots effort to develop Experiential Graphic Design professionals within our design specialty. We have ideas and University contacts but would love to tap into our local design community’s resources as well. Do you have a great concept for a student-focused event? Are you currently an adjunct or professor and have a need for a guest speaker or guest critic for a portfolio review? Would you or your firm be interested in purchasing a lump sum of student memberships to gift to local design students? Reach out to your chapter chairsto start the conversation!

Contact SEGD RDUwith your ideas or to get our on mailing list.

Join us for a winter-holiday celebration on Thursday, December 6 at Little in Durham hosted by Bob Greenberger from Nova Polymers.

The evening kicks-off with a 45-minute presentation about current US ADA /Accessibility requirements as it relates to room ID signs, and education about technical specifications for Accessible/ADA-compliant photopolymer signage. We’ll then break-off into a social to share ideas for our Chapter’s 2019 events calendar.

SEGD Raleigh Chapter Event

SEGD Raleigh Event-iversary!

It’s hard to believe it’s almost been a year since our first SEGD Raleigh event!

Thank you to everyone who has attended events, told your friends about us, followed us on social media, and provided sponsorships. Our first year exceeded all expectations and we can’t wait to see what next year has in store.

To celebrate, we are having an informal meet-up at the Lynnwood Grill & Brewing Concern from 5:30 - 8:00 pm on Friday, November 16. There’s no tour, no lecture, just a fun night to get to know the Raleigh SEGD community. If you’re not yet a member, the new-member rate is still active and we’ll have iPads on hand for you to sign up. If you’ve never been to an event before, join us! Members and non-members are welcome - bring your spouse, roommate, coworker, design-loving friend - the more the merrier!
