SEGD Philly Fall Mixer

What a wonderful fall evening to spend with old and new friends. It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten our Philly crew together to catch up and connect, we’re so happy that so many responded and came out to enjoy the evening with us. Thank you so much for making time in your busy schedules to come.

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer evening and the views from the aka Lounge on the 28th Floor of the FMC tower were amazing! Sam Coultrip introduced us all to PAM Wayfinding, we met our cutest future member and we learned some interesting facts about our three chapter chairs. In case you missed see if you can guess which fact goes with which chapter chair:

  • Is perpetually lost wherever she goes, making her the ultimate user

  • Her parents travel from city to city seeking out projects she’s worked on in hopes of understanding what she does

  • Has hopes for a future multi-city agency karaoke competition

The three of us are excited to be your new chapter chairs and each look forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones, surrounding ourselves by passionate colleagues, and exploring the different aspects of design across different disciplines and seeing how they all intersect.

We would again like to thank all who contributed to this event. To our presenting sponsor PAM and L+H and AGS for sponsoring the food and beverages for the evening. We are grateful for your support and generous contributions.

We hope to see you all at our at our next event: Richard Poulin: Archigraphia Redux on November 2, 2017 @ UArts

SEGD Philly Fall Mixer at the new FMC Tower Level 28

When's the last time you came to an SEGD event? It's been a while?

We'd like to properly introduce ourselves as the new chapter co-chairs for Philly. We've been working hard to get up to speed on all things SEGD including attending the Annual Conference and participating in the Chapter Chair summit. We have a great fall/winter run of events planned that we'll roll out to you shortly, but realized that we should probably make a proper introduction first.

Please join the 3 of us for an evening of drinks, snacks and conversation in an amazing new space not open to the public. You can meet us and we can meet all of you!

6:30pm - Check in at event
7:00pm - Philly Chapter Co-Chair introductions
7:30pm - PAM Presentation, by PAM Wayfinding's Sam Coultrip (

PAM is an all-in-one sign management tool for large scale wayfinding projects. PAM holds all project, planning and product information in one place forever. Sam will show you what PAM looks like, the benefits it brings and how PAM can be a truly valuable asset to you and your clients. There's nothing else like PAM on the market. Come and say hello to PAM, have an open discussion on all things wayfinding and perhaps enjoy a beer together.

We look forward to seeing you on the 12th!

Amy, Linzi, & Sara

Thanks also to our additional sponsors L&H and AGS for sponsoring our food and drink!

Karen Thompson, Planner/Project Manager, and Emma Fried-Cassorla, Communications Manager for the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, will lead us through their process of how this seasonal favorite comes together graphically and experientially. After the tour we can all gather for a happy hour by the fire and recap on what a great year this has been.
