The SEGD Omaha Chapter will be holding our 2019 holiday party at Flying Timber in downtown Omaha. This event is being sponsored by bluemedia. Please reference the Flying Timber website for the facilities rules and regulations. https://www.flyingtimber.com Also note that CLOSED TOE SHOES ARE REQUIRED. Authentic lumberjack outfits are not required, but are preferred. The event starts at 5:30 PM, with the main attraction beginning at 6:00 PM. Please arrive before 6:00 PM so you can fill out your waiver form. We don’t usually have events that require a waiver form, but when we do they involve blades. Refreshments will be provided. Due to the group size limitations we will direct invite guests using our contact list through Eventbrite.

Adam Wells & Nick Zuniga (SEGD Omaha Chapter Chairs)
The SEGD Omaha Chapter will be holding our next event at Werner Park as the Omaha Storm Chasers battle the Nashville Sounds. We will be utilizing the DLR Group suite for the evening. Game starts at 7:00 PM. Please meet Nick Zuniga under the large Werner Park sign at the main entrance (6:45) to get you ticket and he will direct you to the suite. Food and drinks will be provided. Due to the size limitations of the suite we will direct invite guests using our contact list through Eventbrite.

The Omaha SEGD Chapter is excited to announce that our upcoming quarterly meeting will be at MTRL DSGN on June 20th https://www.mtrldsgn.com/
Their mission is to create products that last, bring a better experience to your home and workspace, and get you outdoors. They come from a variety of backgrounds and design with a shared vision to connect you with the people and places around you.
Our tour will begin at 5:30pm and then end with a 30 minute networking event with light snacks and drinks.
MTRL DSGN is located in the Second section of the Mastercraft building (See map: https://themastercraft.com/tenants/ )

Joslyn Art Museum Tour
The SEGD Omaha Chapter will be meeting on April 4th from 5:30-7:30PM to tour the Joslyn Art Museum in downtown Omaha. During the event we will have an opportunity to view the Sculpture Garden, Artworks Exhibit and Back of House of the facility. This event will be limited to twenty (20) attendees so please RSVP directly to Nick Zuniga at [email protected] to get your name on the list. See you soon!

The SEGD Omaha Chapter will be meeting on December 20th from 5-9PM to celebrate another great SEGD year at Brickway Brewery in the historic Old Market District of downtown Omaha. During the event the owners of Brickway will provide us with a tour of their brewing and distillery operations and speak to us about the process they have gone through to brand the business. This event will be held during business hours so anyone interested in attending must RSVP directly to Adam Wells at [email protected] so a badge can be created for you. This badge will allow you to participate in all activities.
