The New York Chapter held its first student networking event "The Bridge" on Thursday April 16th. The event was held at Arcadia Contemporary gallery in SoHo where local members had a chance to meet with the next generation of experiential designers as well as catch up with some old friends.

The Bridge is a new event series set up to build a stronger community between students and recent graduates with SEGD members in the New York area. SEGD NYC co-chairs worked with FIT students Maddy Avino and Sasha Klish, who helped organize, spread the word around campus, as well as coined the name for the event. Along with FIT, there were students from Parsons School of Design, Pratt and other local design schools who also attended the event. We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and give a special thanks to Steve Diamant of Arcadia Contemporary for hosting the event at the gallery.
