We rang in the New Year with an "All Things New" event at the Gensler, Denver office.

First, a huge shout-out to Tina Dominguez with 3M for sponsoring the event. We appreciate your support for our Chapter and your help making the night a success!

Second, we said "good-bye" to George Lim, who is stepping down after 19 years of service and commitment to our Chapter. Joining Angela Serravo as Co-chairs are Gretchen Bustillos and Jim DeRoin. We all look forward to building upon the foundation George has helped build and will continue to work hard to keep the Denver Chapter great!

The night also included a tour of the new Gensler office, an update of events planned for the year, great conversation and many opportunities to connect with both old and new faces.

We have many exciting things planned for 2016, from speaker series and workshops to happy hours and social events. Let's keep the momentum going and make this year great! In the meantime, we always welcome feedback about events you'd like see or any thoughts you might have about how we can continue to build a strong Denver Chapter.

Until the next time!

Angela, Gretchen and Jim

Thank you to all who were able to join us for the Meet the Dark Side event. Design organizations across Denver came together for a very special night of networking and fun!

When I first arrived to the event, it was great to see a line out the door of all the people who were waiting to get their drink tickets and bingo cards for the event. The first 150 to the door received 2 free drink tickets. Participants were also given bingo cards that contained each of the organizations that participated in the event. To get a square marked off, you had to obtain the signature from someone who was a member of that group. People who got bingos or blackouts on their cards were given prizes at the end of the evening.

Over 250 people showed for the event. We received great feedback from people who attended the event who said they were excited about having this opportunity to network and connect with so many people from the Denver design community.
