Over the past 25 years, Chad Hutson has forged a notable career leading teams of creative & technology professionals, building the trust of clients & partners, and helping to transform environments for some of the most recognized brands in the world. Currently he serves as executive director for Dimensional Innovations, where he & his team challenge what's possible at the intersection of physical space, technology and brand storytelling.
As co-founder and CEO of specialized creative agency Leviathan, Chad led overall operations, business development and strategy for the organization, which was acquired by digital consultancy Envoy after over a decade of innovation. His efforts fostered client relationships with Nike, Disney, Amazon, T-Mobile, FedEx, Universal, McDonald’s and Airbus among others, as well as recognition for the company's work by Wired, Fast Company, Forbes, Communication Arts, the FWA, Event Marketer, the One Show and more.
Prior to Leviathan, Chad co-founded and led digital agency eatdrink in 2002; managed creative technology projects for experiential marketing firm MC2; and handled operations for audiovisual company Soundelux Showorks; all of which allowed him to hone a healthy balance of leading both business and creative initiatives.
A past presenter at multiple SXSW conferences, Chad has also spoken at many other high-profile events including InfoComm, VCU Brandcenter's Friday Forum series, Today at Apple, and numerous SEGD events. His expertise has been lent through published articles in industry press, and by serving on board and advisory positions for SEGD, AVIXA, the Museum of Science and Industry, Sheridan College and the Association of Briefing Program Managers (ABPM).
